How Subscribers are Managed?

Note: Inblog automatically excludes bounced/complained emails from the newsletter list to maintain a good email reputation. After troubleshooting delivery issues, you can re-add affected subscribers.

Once subscribers submit their email addresses and complete the validation process, their email addresses are stored and managed in the Subscribers tab.

How subscribers are managed?

1. Active subscribers

The newsletter is sent only to active subscribers, excluding those who have bounced, complained, or unsubscribed from the entire subscriber list.

2. Bounced, Complained, Unsubscribe

To protect the email sending domain and improve the deliverability to subscribers' inboxes, subscribers who have bounced, complained, or unsubscribed are automatically excluded from future mailings.

Email Bounces

To protect the email sending domain and improve the deliverability to subscribers' inboxes, emails to bounced subscribers are automatically excluded from being sent.

For bounced cases, after troubleshooting the issue, they can be re-added to the active subscriber list to receive newsletters.

1. Why does an email bounce?

A bounce happens when an email cannot be delivered to the person it was meant for, and is returned to the sender. It essentially “bounces” back to the person who sent it.

Some reasons include invalid email addresses, full mailboxes, technical issues with email servers, spam filters, message size restrictions, or blacklisting of the sender’s email server.

2. How to re-add bounced users?

In the subscriber list, bounced users are labeled as "Bounced." Bouncing can occur due to various reasons, and after troubleshooting the issue, you can confidently click the "Re-add" button.

How to re-add bounced users?

A modal window will appear asking if you want to re-add them, and you can do so by clicking "Re-add."

How to re-add bounced users?

Sending emails without addressing bounce issues significantly increases the risk of being flagged as a spammer and blacklisted, damaging your email reputation.

** It's crucial to only re-add subscribers after ensuring that the bounce issues have been resolved.

Complained

To protect the email sending domain and enhance deliverability to subscribers' inboxes, emails reported as spam (Complained) are automatically excluded from being sent.
