Guide to Lead Generation Form
You can now add a lead generation form to your blog and posts to gather info(email, name, phone) from potential customers.
Create Lead Gen Form
Blog Banner & Header
In the “Lead Form > Banner/Header” section, you can collect newsletter subscription emails through the banner on the blog homepage and the top header.
Below are the things you can do for each:
Banner
Toggle On/Off
Customize button text.
Collect only the required input value, email.
Header
Toggle On/Off
Customize button text.
Subscribe Modal Form:
Customize body text and button text.
Add input fields for email(required), first name, last name, and phone number.
Post
In the “Lead Form > In-Post” section, you can create a lead capture form asset for use within the post editor.
Types of forms you can create:
Newsletter Form
An email subscription form for newsletters is automatically generated by default and is applied to all posts by default, appearing on the right-side and at the bottom of the post.
URL Form
You can create a collection form that provides a URL as a lead magnet, connecting to a specific link for those who submit the form.
File Download Form
You can create a collection form that offers downloadable files as lead magnets to those who submit the form.(30MB Limit)
How to create a form
You can start creating a lead capture form asset by clicking the Create Form button.
Select the lead magnet you wish to provide to form submitters and click Continue to proceed to the form creation page.
Note: If a newsletter form has already been created, you cannot create an additional one.
On the form building page, choose the format in which you want to insert the lead capture form within the post.
Fill out the form according to the selected form type:
Post Footer
The form is inserted at the bottom of the post.
Pop-up
The form appears as a pop-up when scrolling through the post.
Pop-up & Post Footer
The form is inserted at the bottom of the post, and a pop-up appears when scrolling through the post.
Post Footer(Standalone)
A link is inserted at the bottom of the post, leading to a standalone form page.
Pop-up(Standalone)
A pop-up appears when scrolling through the post, leading to a standalone form page.
Pop-up & Post Footer(Standalone)
A link and a pop-up are provided at the bottom of the post and when scrolling through the post, leading to a standalone form page.
You can review the list of created forms in the "Lead Form > In-Post" section. Click on the rightmost horizontal dots button to edit or delete a form.
Apply Lead Gen Form within a Post
The lead gen form created in the "Lead Form > In-Post" section can be used on the editor by selecting the desired assets. Using toggles, you can optionally turn the lead capture form on/off for each post.
Check Collected Lead
You can review the leads collected (email, name, phone number) on the Audience page.
Clicking on the right chevron will enable you to access a detailed Activity Feed.
Activity Feed includes information such as the page from which the lead was submitted, the acquired lead magnet, as well as newsletter events like opens and clicks.
