Review the impact before deleting posts or categories
Deletion reviews now show the exact selection, publishing status, linked posts, and public-page impact before anything is permanently removed.
Post and category deletion now makes the affected scope visible before you confirm a permanent change.
- Selections follow the list you can see: changing blogs, searches, or filters clears the previous selection, while the header states the current select-all scope.
- Post reviews show what will be removed: see selected titles and counts for published, scheduled, and draft posts, including a warning when a selection falls outside the current list.
- Larger or public changes require an extra check: the dialog warns when published or scheduled posts are included, and deleting 10 or more posts asks for one more confirmation.
- Category impact is checked before deletion: the dialog shows the current number of linked posts and explains that the posts remain while their category links and public category page are removed. Deletion pauses if that impact cannot be verified.
