Find posts by their content and browse more results

Search the full post body when you cannot remember a title, and continue beyond the first 20 results in your blog search.

Sometimes you remember a phrase from a post but not its title. Your public blog search now looks through the full post body as well as titles, tags, and descriptions. Title and tag matches appear first, with matching text shown alongside each result.

Illustrative preview: find a phrase in the body, then browse more results. Example content, not a product screenshot.
  • Open your blog's search and enter a word or phrase you remember. When more results are available after the first 20, scroll to the bottom or select Load more to keep browsing.
  • If loading more results fails, the results already displayed stay in place. Select Try again at the bottom to retry just the additional results.
  • In the editor, internal-link selection and related-post search also find published posts by phrases in their descriptions and bodies.

No additional setup is needed for blogs using the built-in search. If you reach the display limit, a notice appears. Make your query more specific to narrow the results.
