About Retentics

  • AI-powered CRM personalization tool that optimizes messaging based on customer purchase cycles

  • Global SaaS headquartered in Silicon Valley, backed by Kakao Ventures, Primer Sazze, and Valo Capital

  • Trusted by leading e-commerce brands like Allbirds, Rael, Wooltari Mall, and Washswat

Can you briefly introduce yourself?

I lead brand marketing at Retentics, managing everything from content planning across our channels to handling PR. My focus is on growing the brand and building strong connections with our audience.

What does Retentics do, and who is it for?

Retentics started as a tool to analyze existing customer data. Now, it offers Retentics Analytics, which helps businesses assess retention performance and identify loyal customers—all without complex technical setup.

We’re preparing to launch a CRM plugin focused on retention-driven growth. This includes:

  • Personalized campaign tools (who to target, when, and what to send)

  • AI product recommendations, doubling average conversion rates

  • Churn and repurchase segmentation, so marketers can act fast

  • Integrations with Kakao Channel, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, and more

Our core audience is e-commerce businesses around the world, especially those managing CRM and retention marketing.

What were the challenges before using inblog?

We first built a blog in-house, which heavily relied on developers and designers. With no proper CMS or backend, even publishing a single post required a lot of back-and-forth and dev time—usually limited to just 1 hour per week.

Later, we briefly tried Oopy, which helped with publishing but lacked SEO features and analytics. That’s when we found inblog.

How did you discover inblog?

I’m active in B2B sales and marketing communities and came across inblog through Korean Startup Community. Around the same time, a job applicant submitted a portfolio built with inblog—that sparked our interest.

Why does Retentics invest in blogging?

Blogging is essential for B2B inbound marketing and lead nurturing. Our Operations team focuses on driving sales, and I work on attracting potential customers and turning them into qualified leads.

For a PLG (Product-Led Growth) company like us, content marketing is critical. With inblog, we’re consistently publishing content related to customer retention and CRM marketing, and syndicating it on platforms like Open Ads and IT channels.

We also run a newsletter, Retentics Letter, which shares e-commerce insights monthly. It has grown to 200+ subscribers in just 5 months.

Was there any internal resistance to adopting inblog?

Not at all. Everyone recognized the need for content marketing and SEO, and we lacked the dev resources to build our own blog system. While inblog was still early-stage at the time, we decided to go for it—and we’re glad we did.

What’s been the best part of using inblog?

I can manage everything end-to-end—from writing to SEO—without needing technical help. That’s been a game-changer. Compared to our old setup, inblog has drastically reduced effort and boosted our output.

Any measurable impact so far?

Absolutely. Our goals with inblog were clear:

  • Rank well for our target keywords

  • Drive organic traffic

Today, our organic traffic has doubled, and 62% of blog visitors come from organic search. inblog’s SEO-focused platform made that possible.

What do you hope to see from inblog next?

We’d love to see:

  • Lead capture tools (like pop-ups and forms for webinars and gated content)
    > we updated!

  • A more powerful analytics dashboard with content engagement stats and trend tracking
    > we updated!

These would help us optimize and scale our content strategy even further.

Would you recommend inblog?

Definitely. If your team doesn’t have a dedicated dev or SEO expert, inblog is the perfect solution. It’s easy to use, powerful, and helps us drive real results.
