How to share a post on LinkedIn?

Steps for creating a new LinkedIn post

Note: Linking LinkedIn accounts and posting are only available in the Team plan (or Trial).

or navigate to the social posting page through the 'Post Social' button on the editor screen.

2. Connect Your LinkedIn Account

At least one team member account must be linked to the blog. Click on the 'Connect to LinkedIn' button.

The LinkedIn OAuth window will appear. Log in with the LinkedIn account you want to connect.

2-a. Add another member's LinkedIn accounts

If you want to connect another team member's LinkedIn account, you can request the connection via email.

When you press the Invite button, an email sending popup will appear, allowing you to request the connection.

The team member who receives the email will get a link that directs them to the 'My page' on Inblog, where they can link their LinkedIn account.

3. Write LinkedIn Post

3-a. Single linked account

If there is only one linked account on LinkedIn, posts will be shared using that account. You can write the body description in WYSIWYG format, similar to what appears in LinkedIn posts, and the featured (OG) image of the Inblog post will be uploaded along with it.

3-b. Multiple linked accounts

If there are multiple linked accounts on LinkedIn, posts will be shared using that accounts.

You can select the distribution account using checkboxes.

  • For the original post, you can write the body description in WYSIWYG format, similar to what appears in LinkedIn posts, and the featured (OG) image of the Inblog post will be uploaded along with it.

  • Shared posts will be distributed across the networks of the other linked LinkedIn accounts, aside from the original account, in the form of sharing the original post.

3-c. Change social account status

You can change the status of the Origin account, which uploads the Original post, and the Share account, which uploads the Shared post. To do so, click the Chevron down button next to the linked account.

4. Setting upload time

You can set the timing for sharing the Original post on LinkedIn. You can choose to share it now, in one hour, or one day later. Shared posts will be uploaded to the Share account sequentially with a one-hour interval.

LinkedIn Disconnect on Access Token Expiry

If the Access Token expires, for security reasons, the linked LinkedIn account will be logged out, and the user will see the following alert window. An email will be sent to users who have been logged out due to Access Token expiration for the purpose of Reconnect.
