We only know the people with whom we've exchanged greetings and information among those 50 million! 👥
Similarly, a bot (search algorithm) that handles searches can only know the existence of a website if it has greeted and exchanged information with it. (To be more precise, it gets to know faster!)
Sometimes in life, we avoid or refuse to form relationships or exchange greetings and information in unwanted situations. If our homepage does not greet or exchange information with Googlebot, it may not recognize our existence.
(Through robots.txt or noindex, we can avoid relationships.)

Sometimes we automatically get to know people who stand out because they're very handsome or beautiful, or who are often seen even if they don't say hello.
Just like us humans, search bots also naturally learn about websites that haven't greeted but are frequently visited by people (through direct URL entry), or have been around for a long time online.😁

Would you introduce someone who is unappealing and lacks skills or knowledge? Or would you rather introduce someone who is neat, stylish, has a pleasant demeanor, and possesses valuable skills and knowledge? Most likely, you'd choose the latter. Similarly, search bots prioritize websites that are not only visually appealing but also provide valuable information and services.
It's like recommending someone for a job in your company.
What about ads? If there are people who will pay 💰 for your recommendation, wouldn't we recommend them first? Those people are advertisers. Does this help you understand search priority?

When going for plastic surgery there's standard beauty criteria right? So when getting plastic surgery we consult with doctor to match better beauty standards covering our shortcomings.
Similarly there's taste difference between yours' preference versus search bot’s preference so learning process what search bot likes is necessary.

Even though consulting with me personally might be helpful, I strongly recommend looking at official documents. These documents could provide more accurate information than I can. Of course, please note that my answers, which are based on these official documents, could change over time due to continuous updates.
Google shares changing standards via YouTube channel besides official documents so if learning time allows then understanding basic search engine SEO through learning is recommended. However if there’s time constraint then consulting experts also strongly recommended.
