Biden Stumbles Again, Refers to Himself as "First Black Woman" During Interview

U.S. President Joe Biden made a startling language error in a recent radio interview when he referred to himself as the "first black woman."

The gaffe occurred during an interview with Philadelphia’s WURD, where Biden was attempting to highlight his historic appointments of Kamala Harris as the first black female vice president and Ketanji Brown-Jackson as the first black female Supreme Court justice.

Biden's exact words were: “By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman... to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look... we’re the United States of America.”

It appears he intended to reference his role in these significant milestones but ended up conflating his identity with those of Harris and Brown-Jackson.

This incident has sparked a wave of reactions, with some critics using it to question Biden's fitness for office. One commenter remarked, "Old age is telling on him seriously. He should consider stepping aside and age gracefully."

Another added, "He was obviously referring to Kamala Harris. This isn't a gaffe, it's propaganda attacking his person."

The gaffe comes amid increasing calls for the 81-year-old president to reconsider his re-election bid due to concerns about his health and capacity to fulfill presidential duties.

During a recent gathering of Democratic governors at the White House, Biden himself acknowledged the toll of his responsibilities, stating he needs to get more sleep and work fewer hours, even jokingly attributing issues to “just my brain.”

Despite the criticism, some supporters remain steadfast. One individual commented, "No one is above mistakes, I repeat Joe Biden is the only individual that have beaten and would win the notorious criminal Trump in the upcoming election to save American’s and the world’s democracy."
