Figma Slides, introduced at Config 2024, is a powerful tool for creating stunning and interactive presentations. It combines Figma’s robust design capabilities with essential presentation features, allowing for seamless integration and real-time collaboration.
Is Figma slides free?
Though beta version of Figma slides is not available for free, Figma mentioned on their plans&pricing page that Figma slides will be on starter plans and $3 or $5/month depending on your paid plan from early 2025.
How to use Figma slides
While Figma provides a very easy interface, I will walk you through each features of Figma slides briefly!
How to create Figma slide deck
Click “New slide deck” to start making new Figma slide deck.
Figma slides templates
Figma provides multiple templates. Say goodbye to terrifying Blank-white board! Select one template that suits your document purpose the most, or you can always be brave and start right away from blank slides!
Figma slides for better team work
One of the best parts about Figma slides is that you can work on the document simultaneously with your co-workers! Use “/” button to say hi!
Single slide view vs Grid view
By clicking toggle layout on the top left, you can switch between different slide layout views. You can either choose to focus on a single slide or view your document as a whole through a grid view.
How to use design features on Figma slides
Click on the element you want to edit, and the design bar will appear just like how we use our friend, Figma design. You can access all your favorite design features such as auto layout and advanced properties!
Figma slides with tone AI feature
Don’t forget the tone AI feature! Think your texts are to boring? You can change the voice tone of your text through a single click with tone AI!
Animate tab on Figma slides
On the Animate tab, you can choose the transition type to spice your presentation deck a little bit with exciting motions!
Presenter note for confident pitch
