Welcome to inblog. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the inblog.ai platform and related services (inpages.ai, informs.io), operated by inblog Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Service Description

inblog provides a platform for blog creation, management, publishing, and SEO optimization. Our services include:

  • Blog creation and content management
  • SEO tools and keyword performance tracking
  • Customizable templates and design tools
  • Analytics and traffic insights
  • AI-powered search and content features
  • Lead capture forms
  • Newsletter and subscriber management

Features may vary by subscription plan and are subject to change.

2. Account Registration

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 14 years old to use our services. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2.2 Account Responsibility

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others.
  • You must notify us immediately at sangwon@inblog.ai if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

2.3 Account Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms or our content policies.
  • Engage in illegal activities through our platform.
  • Fail to pay subscription fees when due.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before or promptly after any account action, except in cases requiring immediate action for security or legal reasons.

3. Subscription Plans and Payment

3.1 Plans

We offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features and capacity as described on our pricing page.

3.2 Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's terms of service. Some existing subscribers may continue to be billed through Lemon Squeezy (our previous payment provider).

3.3 Billing

  • Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as selected at the time of purchase.
  • You authorize us (via Paddle) to charge your payment method on each billing date.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend your access to paid features until payment is resolved.

3.4 Refund Policy

We comply with the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (전자상거래 등에서의 소비자보호에 관한 법률). You have the following rights:

  • Right of Withdrawal: You may withdraw your subscription within 7 days of the initial purchase, provided you have not substantially used the paid features.
  • Exceptions: The right of withdrawal does not apply if:
    • You have already used the paid features extensively.
    • The subscription period has passed beyond 7 days from the date of purchase.
  • How to Request: To request a refund, contact us at sangwon@inblog.ai within the applicable period.
  • Processing: Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment method within 14 business days.
  • Service Disruption: If we discontinue a paid service or experience a prolonged outage (more than 72 consecutive hours), you are entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription.

For international users: local consumer protection laws may provide additional rights. In case of conflict between these Terms and your local consumer protection laws, the provision more favorable to you shall apply.

4. Content Ownership and License

4.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or publish through our platform ("Your Content").

4.2 License Grant

By uploading or publishing content on our platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, distribute, and make your content available to the public as necessary to provide and improve our services. This license:

  • Is limited to the purpose of operating and improving our platform.
  • Does not transfer ownership of your content.
  • Terminates when you delete your content or close your account (subject to reasonable backup and caching delays).

4.3 AI Processing

Published content may be processed by AI services (OpenAI) to enable search and content-related features. This processing is governed by our Privacy Policy. AI service providers do not acquire rights to your content.

4.4 Our Content

All intellectual property related to the platform itself — including but not limited to software, design, logos, trademarks, and documentation — is owned by inblog Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

5. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You agree not to use our platform to publish or distribute:

  • Content that promotes gambling or illegal activities.
  • Sexually explicit or pornographic material.
  • Hate speech, harassment, or content inciting violence.
  • Misinformation or deliberately misleading content.
  • Content that violates Google Ads policies (if you use our ad integration features).
  • Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
  • Malware, phishing, or any content designed to harm users or systems.

Consequences

Violation of these policies may result in:

  1. Removal of the offending content.
  2. Temporary suspension of your account.
  3. Permanent termination of your account.
  4. Legal action if required.

6. Content Moderation

6.1 Our Right to Moderate

We reserve the right to review, modify, or remove content that violates these Terms or our content policies.

6.2 Notification

  • Pre-removal: Where feasible, we will notify you before removing content and provide an opportunity to address the violation.
  • Immediate removal: In cases involving illegal content, security threats, or severe policy violations, we may remove content immediately and notify you afterward.
  • Post-removal: After content removal, we will send a notification to your registered email explaining the reason for removal.

6.3 Appeals

If you believe content was removed in error, you may appeal by contacting us at sangwon@inblog.ai within 30 days of the removal notice. We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days.

7. Service Availability

  • We aim to provide continuous, uninterrupted service but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire service with at least 30 days' notice for significant changes.
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
  • We are not liable for interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Note: Under Korean law, limitations of liability do not apply to damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless inblog Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the service.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your content infringing on the rights of third parties.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

10.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea, unless local law mandates otherwise.

10.3 Consumer Protection

For users residing outside of Korea: if your local consumer protection laws provide rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights shall prevail over conflicting provisions in these Terms.

11. International Users

If you access our services from outside of Korea:

  • You consent to the transfer of your data to Korea and other countries where our service providers operate (including the United States).
  • You are responsible for complying with your local laws regarding online conduct and content.
  • In the event of conflict between these Terms and mandatory local laws, the local laws shall apply to the extent required.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of changes by:

  • Sending an email to your registered address at least 15 days before the changes take effect.
  • Posting a notice on our platform dashboard.

Your continued use of the service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may close your account before the effective date.

13. Miscellaneous

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and inblog Inc. regarding the use of our services.
  • Assignment: We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
