What is a Swap?
A Swap allows you to exchange one digital asset for another. For example, converting XRP to RLUSD or RLUSD to XRP is a Swap transaction.
On the XRP Ledger, this process occurs directly through the DEX (Decentralized Exchange) without involving centralized exchanges.
As a result, you can exchange assets instantly within your wallet, without any separate deposit or withdrawal process.
Adding a Token to Trade on XRP Ledger
Before initiating a Swap, you must add the Issuer Address of the token you want to trade.
Open Girin Wallet → [XRP Ledger] → [Manage Tokens] → [Add Token]
Enter the Issuer Address and Token Ticker, then click [Next].

Adding a token requires an Owner Reserve of 0.2 XRP.
Click [Confirm] and the token will appear in your wallet’s asset list.
How to Swap
Once the token has been added, you can proceed with the actual Swap.
On the bottom menu of Girin Wallet, tap [Swap].
Select the asset you hold. (e.g., XRP)
Select the asset you want to receive. (e.g., RLUSD)
Enter the amount you wish to exchange, then click [Next].
Enter your Passcode, then click [Done] to complete the Swap.
