What is Doppler Finance?
Doppler Finance is the first XRPfi project built on the XRP Ledger. It is a yield-earning platform designed to unlock earning opportunities within the XRPL ecosystem by putting idle $XRP to productive use.
What is XRPfi?
XRPfi refers to a range of opportunities that enable yield generation using $XRP and assets within the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
$XRP holds a significant position in the cryptocurrency market. As of January 2025, it ranks third in market capitalization after $BTC and $ETH. It consistently remains in the top five in centralized exchange trading volumes and ranks second or third in terms of the number of holders in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. $XRP is one of the few digital assets that continue to demonstrate sustained value in terms of scale and demand.
Despite its strong market presence, $XRP’s primary use case has long been limited to remittances. Unlike widely utilized on-chain assets such as $ETH or $SOL, most $XRP remains idle on centralized exchanges.
Just as the Bitcoin ecosystem enabled yield generation for $BTC holders through CeDeFi and DeFi structures, Doppler Finance is exploring various ways to unlock similar opportunities for $XRP—bringing yield generation to the XRP Ledger through the emerging XRPfi sector.
