What is RLUSD?

RLUSD is a type of stablecoin that maintains a 1:1 peg with the US dollar. Designed to address the high volatility of cryptocurrencies and bridge the gap between fiat currencies, RLUSD facilitates efficient transactions and enables seamless cross-border payments.

How do you add tokens on the XRP Ledger?

Just like you can use ERC-20 tokens on the Ethereum mainnet alongside $ETH, the XRP Ledger mainnet allows the use of assets other than $XRP by enabling a Trust Line. Once a Trust Line is activated, you can interact with and hold various tokens issued on the XRP Ledger. (Link more)

1) Click “Add Token” from a wallet activated on the XRPL

To activate the XRP Ledger on Girin Wallet, a Base Reserve of 1 $XRP must be deposited.

2) Enter the Issuer Address and Token Ticker for RLUSD

Issuer Address is similar to a Contract Address when adding a token on the Ethereum mainnet.

3) Enter your password and click “Confirm”
→ RLUSD is now activated
